Al Silkroski has spent more than 40 years building and leading environmental remediation businesses. In 1999, he founded Hilltop Environmental Solutions, growing it into a $20 million environmental services and waste brokerage firm. Al owns and operates TEVET, a proprietary soil treatment technology used on remediation projects nationwide, and has directed major cleanups including the Alaska Valdez oil spill and refinery remediation in Mexico City. Before founding Hilltop, he co-founded and sold two environmental companies, both later acquired by Clean Earth, Inc. Al holds a B.S. in Business from the University of Pittsburgh and serves on the board of Lifetime Wells International.

Tim Fogerty brings more than 30 years of experience in the hazardous and non-hazardous waste industry. As Chief Operating Officer of Hilltop Environmental Solutions, he oversees the firm’s financial operations, logistics, staffing, permitting, and health and safety programs. Earlier, Tim served as Vice President and General Manager of Clean Earth of Philadelphia, where he led Pennsylvania’s only permitted contaminated thermal destruction facility and secured permitting that made it the first in the country authorized to handle certain deregulated hazardous waste coal tars. A proven company builder, he co-founded Consolidated Technologies and founded Green Horizon Environmental, later sold to US Plastic Lumber. Tim holds a B.S. from Rutgers University–Camden.

Dr. Gorm Heron has spent 30 years building and leading environmental remediation businesses worldwide, taking three companies — SteamTech Environmental Services, TerraTherm, and TRS Group — from struggling market entrants to recognized industry leaders, with two later sold at attractive valuations. As Chief Technology Officer of Hilltop Environmental Solutions, he oversees remediation of solvents, petroleum products, and PFAS, and directs development of novel thermal technologies. Gorm has designed or directed thermal remediation projects in more than a dozen countries, including the world’s largest in-situ thermal remediation project, in Suzhou, China. He holds two U.S. patents and has authored more than 25 peer-reviewed publications. Gorm earned his Ph.D. from the Technical University of Denmark.

Kyle Klein brings specialized expertise in radiation safety, hazardous and radioactive waste management, and environmental remediation to his role at Hilltop Environmental Solutions, where he serves as Project Manager, Radiation Safety Officer, and Hazardous Waste Shipper. He oversees radiological protection, hazardous waste identification and shipment, and TEVET thermal treatment operations across multiple states. Kyle built his career from the ground up, progressing over eight years from field laborer to Radiation Safety Officer and Project Manager at Austin Master Services / American Energy Partners. His project experience spans nuclear decommissioning, contaminated soil remediation, and radioactive waste transport. Kyle holds a B.S. in Physics from Lock Haven University.
