IS YOUR SOIL CONTAMINATED WITH CHLORINATED SOLVENTS?
____________
If your soil is contaminated with chlorinated solvents like TCE, PCE, and/or other VOC’s, our process, TEVET®, has been found highly effective to meet your state required treatment standards.
WANT TO SAVE 30-50% OVER TRADITIONAL TRANSPORTATION AND DISPOSAL METHODS?
____________
TEVET®’s process eliminates the need to transport your soil contaminated with chlorinated solvents off-site. Once the soil is treated, it is able to be reused at your job site.
HOW DOES A TREAT UNTIL CLEAN GUARANTEE SOUND?
____________
No two piles are exactly the same. Our treat until clean guarantee means that we will keep treating the pile until the chlorinated solvent level results you require are met, or there is no charge for that pile.
What is TEVET®?
Thermally Enhanced Vapor Extraction Technology – TEVET® – is an on-site, ex-situ process that provides maximum flexibility for hot spot excavation and treatment of chlorinated solvents – Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), BTEX, (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene), PCE and/or TCE contaminated soil. TEVET® treats soil in batches of up to 1000 tons. It takes approximately 2.5 days to build, 6 days to treat, and 2 days to dismantle. TEVET® can be scaled to have up to 4 piles of 1000 tons treated at any given time.
The TEVET® process provides for direct analysis of the impacted soil. After 6 days of treatment, a sample is taken to a certified lab to verify that the level of chlorinated solvents has met the cleanup criteria contaminant level. The pile will continue to be treated until treatment standards are met. The contaminated air goes into a carbon vessel for scrubbing prior to being released back into the atmosphere – No Part B permits are required.
TEVET® is usually more cost-effective for sites with a large lay-down area and difficult and/or multiple hot spot locations requiring excavation equipment to reach them. Through the use of electrical generators and propane tanks in the thermal treatment process, the TEVET® process is completely portable and adjustable to site and soil conditions. TEVET® is a totally mobile operation and can be set up at any location on a site.
